Questions

Common questions, plainly answered.

Can't find what you're looking for? Drop us a line and we'll give you a real answer — not a sales pitch.

How much does a 3 kW rooftop solar plant cost?

For a domestic customer, the estimated effective cost is around ₹92,000 — that's a plant cost of ₹1,70,000 minus the ₹78,000 PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy. A 5 kW plant works out to roughly ₹1,82,000 effective (₹2,60,000 − ₹78,000). Final pricing depends on roof type, panel choice and site conditions.

How does the PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy actually work?

The subsidy of up to ₹78,000 (for systems 3 kW and above) is a direct benefit transfer from the central government to your bank account. As a registered installer, we file the application on your behalf, coordinate with your DISCOM, complete the commissioning, and the subsidy is released after inspection.

How much electricity will a 3 kW system actually generate?

A typical 3 kW rooftop solar plant in Rajasthan produces up to around 400 units per month, depending on sunlight, panel orientation, dust, and seasonal variation. For most households with regular consumption, this offsets the bulk of monthly electricity usage.

How quickly will my investment pay back?

If your current electricity bill is above ₹2,500 a month, that's roughly ₹30,000 a year, or about ₹90,000 over three years. A 3 kW plant at an effective cost of ₹92,000 essentially recovers itself in around three years through bill savings — and keeps generating for 20+ years after that. Exact payback depends on usage patterns, sunlight, tariff and site conditions.

How long does installation take?

We aim to complete the full installation — structure, inspection and final setup — within around 30 days, subject to approvals, site conditions and documentation. Most of that time is paperwork; the physical install itself is just a few days.

What panels and components do you use?

Only A-grade Tier-1 solar panels from trusted brands — primarily Adani, Luminous and Waaree. Mounting is on hot-dip galvanised-iron (GI) structures, with branded cabling throughout for safe, long-term performance.
